I adjust the lighting for each photo depending upon the thickness of the flower petals and sepals. Thin flower petals tend to glow with back lighting, but it is important to also have side lighting to give definition to the shape of the flower. I prefer
to use natural light to capture the true colors, and never use a flash because it makes the flower look too "flat."
